Hi, I'm Kristin and I created Live Your Dream Italy in 2024 for people like us - excited about buying a home and living in Italy! In May 2026, the name was changed to "Vivere Italia." 

I love finding and sharing homes with members on Patreon, Substack and Skool.

It was through these weekly home finds that we found our beautiful €40k home in Sardinia in May 2025 and finalized the sale six weeks later.

Six months after it was featured, the owners made a price reduction which was within our budget.  Our full price offer was accepted and on June 13th, 2025, we got the keys and got to see our new home - and village - for the first time.  

We bought it sight unseen, fully furnished and thankfully, with no work to be done for $52k after all realtor's commission, fees and taxes. We'd been seriously searching in Sicily, Puglia, Sardinia and Calabria for about three months. 

The sale went incredibly smoothly and easily and so far, everything has been pretty perfect. We're still pinching ourselves and waiting for "the bureaucracy" to come knocking on the door!

In just over a year, we have already had so much fun and absolutely love our sweet house, the beautiful village and incredible Sardinia! It's definitely one of the best - and easiest - things we've ever done.
